A lawyer, a legal IT person, and the marketing director of a mid-size law firm walk into a bar … and agree to co-write a book on marketing for lawyers.
‘Digital Marketing for Law Firms: How to get your fee earners and fee burners working together to grow your business‘ is the punchline.
Based on over 50 interviews with lawyers, marketers, managing partners and legal marketing recruiters, as well as analytics data from more than 100 law firms across the world, it’s a comprehensive study of what makes professional services firms tick online and offline.
The book explores not only the practical aspects of marketing a law firm online but the cultural issues that make it a challenge to market professional services firms effectively in the digital era.
Partly a how-to book, ‘Digital Marketing for Law Firms: How to get your fee earners and fee burners working together to grow your business‘ looks to build bridges between lawyers and marketers and explains how the digital thread should run through all law firm marketing activities.
Expected in 2017, the book is being written by Genevieve Burnett, Charles Ashton and Sally King.
